elementor-element-a5987e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a5987e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is in support of Craig, our friend and colleague, who had an accident at his home in October 2017, falling down the stair and fracturing his skull in several places.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-425f35c9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"425f35c9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Craig was initially taken to Watford Hospital but was then transferred to St Marys in London for an emergency operation a couple of days later. He ended up staying there for two weeks!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-44f5fe1f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"44f5fe1f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Craig said: \u201cIt turned out blood was seeping into my brain and the Doctors had to take several parts of my skull out. This is obviously a dangerous situation, so in December 2017, I went to Charing Cross Hospital to have a hardened cap fitted.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-64f8699 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"64f8699\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cUnfortunately, I fell into the 4% of the population whose body rejects the stitched used. So in June 2018 I had to have the cap removed. From June 2018 to January 2019, I wore a helmet to protect my skull. Resulting in some puzzle looks at work.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-438ac6f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"438ac6f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>He had a second cap fitted in January 2019 \u2013 one made of calcium and titanium that \u201cgrew\u201d over the missing part of his skull. Again, his body rejected the stitched so that was removed in Easter 2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ea9e4bb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2ea9e4bb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Craig was back to wearing the helmet until a third replacement in October 2019 \u2013 this time, the doctors used traditional stitches instead of the newer ones from before. He was signed off in June 2021 and has felt well ever since.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1fd80a4d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1fd80a4d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>He was in contact with Headway throughout this entire process. From his first meeting with a voluntary counsellor through to support meetings for him and his family.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dbee000 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dbee000\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Craig said: \u201cThey really, really helped a lot.
